Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website asks your browser to store. Closely related is "local storage", where a site saves a small note in your browser. This policy explains, in plain language, what this website stores, what loads only with your consent, and how to change your mind.

2. What this site itself stores

• Your cookie choice. When you accept or reject, we save that choice in your browser's local storage (key: cw_cookie_consent) so the banner does not ask you on every visit. It contains nothing but your choice, and it never leaves your browser.
• Hosting (GitHub Pages). Our host may use strictly essential technical measures — such as server logs — needed to deliver and protect the site. These are not used to profile you.

3. Google — only with your consent

Our contact form and newsletter form are Google Forms. They do not load when you open a page. They load only after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner (or "Accept & load the form" on a form placeholder). When a form loads, Google may set its own cookies, governed by Google's policies.

If you reject cookies, the forms never load and no Google cookies are set through this site. You lose nothing essential: you can always reach us directly on WhatsApp (+352 621 430 283) or at yoyotourscuba@gmail.com.

4. Meta / Facebook

We do not embed Facebook or Instagram content in this site. If you follow a link to our Facebook page or open WhatsApp, Meta's own cookie and privacy policies apply on their services, outside our control.

5. The categories, in short

• Essential — your consent choice and the host's technical operation. Always active; the site cannot remember your choice without them.
• Third-party (consent-based) — Google cookies connected with the forms. Only after you accept.
• Marketing/tracking — we run none. No advertising trackers, no analytics pixels.

6. Changing your mind

Click "Cookie settings" — here or in the footer of any page — and the banner reopens so you can change your choice. Withdrawing consent stops the forms from loading again on your next visit; cookies Google may already have set can be deleted in your browser settings at any time.
