Every photograph on this website is a real photograph — no AI-generated imagery. Most pictures come from Wikimedia Commons, where photographers share their work under free Creative Commons licences; a few are Yoyo’s own photographs, from his 2019 archive. Each one is credited below with its author, source and licence, as those licences require. ShareAlike (CC BY-SA) photographs remain under their original licence; follow the source link for the full terms and the original file.

The header film — Home page
The short film at the top of the home page is edited from the real photographs credited on this page — Havana’s Malecón at dusk, the Viñales Valley, salsa in the street, classic cars at the Capitolio and Varadero beach — with a slow zoom-out, crossfades and a soft ambient blur. No new imagery was created for it, and every photograph keeps the licence credited above.

From Yoyo’s own archive, 2019 — Our Story and About Yoyo
These photographs are Yoyo’s own (© Yusmel Colombo Aguilar / Cuba with Yoyo), taken across Cuba in 2019, during the Habanaboys years: Yoyo jumping at the giant CUBA letters, the BAYAMO city letters in the colours of the flag, the ‘Vive en el pueblo’ and ‘Todo por Cuba’ murals, a sunset from a pier and a quiet bay with fishing boats. Real photographs from the family album — not stock.
Background music — ‘Cuban Sandwich’
